What2Eat?! (“we,” “our,” or “us”) provides AI-generated cooking recipes and meal ideas based on the ingredients and inputs you provide. We respect your privacy and clearly explain what data we collect, how we use it, and your responsibilities when using AI-generated content.

We never collect payment card information. All payments are handled securely by Apple via StoreKit.

4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely on servers operated by a professional cloud provider. All connections are encrypted via HTTPS/TLS. Access is restricted to essential operational functions and protected through strong authentication and security controls.
5. Data Retention
Your information is retained only as long as necessary to operate your account, fulfill legal requirements, and maintain subscription records. When you request deletion, your personal data is permanently removed except where legally required retention applies.

7. Children’s Privacy
The App is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If such data is discovered, it will be deleted immediately.

12. AI-Generated Recipe Disclaimer & Liability Waiver
The App generates recipes automatically based on your inputs. These outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, unsafe, or unsuitable. By using the App, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
12.1 No Guarantee of Accuracy
AI-generated recipes may contain incorrect cooking times, unsafe temperatures, missing steps, incompatible ingredients, or suggestions that do not consider allergies or dietary needs.
12.2 Not Professional Advice
All recipe content is provided for informational and entertainment purposes only. It does not constitute medical, nutritional, or professional cooking advice.
12.3 Your Responsibility
You must independently verify all ingredients, preparation methods, cooking instructions, food safety steps, and allergy considerations. You are fully responsible for safe food handling and kitchen safety.
12.4 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, What2Eat?!, BlueBear Berlin, and its affiliates are not liable for any harm, including food poisoning, allergic reactions, undercooked meals, kitchen fires, injuries, wasted ingredients, or damages resulting from AI-generated content. You use the App entirely at your own risk.
12.5 Acceptance
By using the App, you accept this liability waiver and agree not to pursue claims or legal actions arising from AI-generated recipes.
13. App Store AI Disclaimer
What2Eat?! generates recipe ideas using automated systems. Content may be inaccurate or unsuitable. Users must verify instructions independently. The App does not provide medical, dietary, or professional advice. Use at your own risk.
